This is a public policy forum that was established in 2006 by Minneapolis Second Ward (Green) City Council Member Cam Gordon and his policy aide Robin Garwood to share what they were working on and what life in City Hall was like. After serving 4 terms Cam lost his relection in 2021 but has continued to be involved in local politics and to use this forum to report and share his perspective on public policy. On Tuesday, August 23rd, at 11pm, 39-year-old True Thai employee Anousone Phanthavong was hit and killed by what State Patrol officers believe was a Mercedes SUV on the Riverside ramp up from I-94. The driver fled the scned. If you know anything about this incident, please call the Minneapolis Police Department at (612) 692-TIPS.

It seems the police have found the car involved in this hit and run. I hope they will find the person responsible soon.
